Shemax Return Policy

At Shemax USA, we stand behind the engineering and quality of our professional equipment. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your specific salon needs. To ensure a fair and transparent process for all nail professionals, please review our return guidelines below.

1. Return Window & Authorization

  • 30-Day Limit: Return requests must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • Prior Approval Required: All returns must be authorized in writing. Please contact EMAIL to receive a Return Authorization before shipping.

  • Unauthorized Returns: Items sent back without prior approval may be refused or returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.

2. Eligibility & Condition of Items

To qualify for a refund, the equipment must be returned in its original, professional condition. Due to the high-performance nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on used gear.

  • Unused Condition: The product must show zero signs of use (no nail dust, debris, or cosmetic scratches).

  • Original Packaging: Items must be returned in the original retail box with all internal protection, accessories, power supplies, and manuals included.

  • Hygiene Standard: For the safety of our staff and customers, any item showing signs of operation in a salon environment will not be eligible for a refund.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and technical reasons, the following are final sale:

  • Used Filters: Any filter that has been removed from its packaging or used.

  • Open Box/Used Items: All sales of "Open Box" or "Lightly Used" units are final and are covered under our 12-month warranty rather than a return policy.

4. How to Initiate a Return

Email info@shemaxusa.com with the following details:

  1. Order Number.

  2. Reason for the return.

  3. Photos showing the current condition of the unit and its packaging.

Once approved, the item must be shipped back within 14 calendar days. Please ensure the unit is securely packaged; Shemax is not responsible for damage occurring during return transit due to improper packing.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Personal Preference: For returns due to personal reasons (e.g., changed mind, wrong model ordered), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Defects or Errors: If the return is due to a confirmed manufacturing defect or a shipping error on our part, Shemax USA will provide a prepaid return label.

6. Refund Processing

  • Inspection: All returns are subject to a technical inspection upon arrival at our warehouse.

  • Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days to your original payment method.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: Original shipping costs and insurance fees are non-refundable.

7. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

We are committed to resolving any issue directly with you. By completing a purchase, you agree to contact Shemax USA to allow us to resolve any matter before filing a dispute with your bank.

  • We cannot process refunds, replacements, or warranty claims while a chargeback is active.

  • Chargebacks filed to bypass the "No-Use" or "30-Day" policy will be strictly contested with full documentation.

8. Missing or Damaged Item Claims

If your order arrives incomplete or damaged by the carrier, you must notify us within 14 calendar days of delivery. Please provide photos of the outer shipping box, the label, and the contents. Claims made after 14 days cannot be accepted.
